J1 WORK & TRAVEL VISA PROGRAMS

There is no cost to your company to hire a University Student during your peak season.

The J1 Work & Travel Program is run by the United States government allowing international students to legally work in the US for four months during their school vacation. This program gives international students the opportunity to experience the American culture, while at the same time benefits the US-based businesses that are unable to find American workers during their peak season.

E-JAM, Employment Jamaica specializes in matching talented English speaking Jamaican candidates with companies for their short or long term seasonal needs.

We work in conjunction with J1 USA Sponsors, who are accredited by the US Government. The Sponsors are responsible for making sure that the students meet the eligibility criteria; filing the DS-2019 form needed to obtain their visa; obtaining medical insurance for the students; assist in finding housing and giving them support throughout the duration of their assignment.
